Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th of 1996 in Stavanger and professionally referred to as Aurora or, sometimes, stylized in the form of AURORA is a Norwegian music producer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released through the record label Decca Records in May 2015 and received a lot of praise by music journalists and press. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are among her most well-known recordings. Katy Perry's support for her track Runaway via a blog post added to the musician's acknowledgement. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memories involve finding a tiny piano that was in her basement and bewildered by the sound it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. They encouraged her not to do music just for fun or for the sake of growth but rather, she must explore it. To achieve this she started writing her own original compositions. In addition to Bjork She also cites Leonard Cohen as an influence. When her mother told her that the songs she wrote might not gain fame for her however, but to encourage people to realize the importance of their work and influence to our world at large, she began singing them in public. She started playing piano at the age of six, and began making music when she was 9 years old. This was not known to her family until she reached the age of fourteen. Aurora's success was never her goal. According to her, she simply loves writing music. She says that music is her most preferred way to feel anything.
