Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actress who is most well-known for her character Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. The daughter of Peter an academic, as well as Ilkay Silk who is a renowned actress director producer playwright educator and Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the earliest moments of her existence, such as taking part in rehearsals of stage plays. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials as a young child. She earned her Bachelor of Arts was awarded from St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to further her acting career in November 1999, and during the decade that followed, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she was introduced to him in an actor's workshop located in Los Angeles. In December 2009 they married after a civil wedding ceremony. The couple renewed their vows on April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's was converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of May 2016. Silk's work on television is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 Silk was a part of the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the final season episode. The news was announced to viewers of the show in a Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season and on the 20th of June 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was ready to return to the series. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couples with identical sexuality in Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top TV Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to an extensive online presence using social media.
